Charter > Off ShoreWe were back at our home away from home in the beautiful city of San Diego this past weekend to kick off our offshore season and get the cobwebs off the boat for our first runs of the season.
Weather was up in a big big way and made it tough fishing to say the least, but the boys from Anglers Center in Newport Beach kicked butt from day break until we were back at the dock in tough conditions.
We managed some big yellowtails of a kelp that pulled very hard, we got one on the troller as we rolled up on the paddy that broke us off on 80 pound….
We managed 6 nice grade yellows of that paddy and we were back to the hunt for some tuna for the guys.
It was pretty much impossible to keep the spread looking good with all the wind, but we did get one nice albacore to eat one of the jigs.
All in all great day to kick off the offshore program and thanks to the guys for fishing with Seasons Sportfishing.
