Open Party > Off ShoreWe had one of those days that was filled with so many laughs and epic fishing, one can only dream of having!
Started the morning out about 60 miles south of Point Loma. Weather was amazing and the fishing was as wide open as its gets, amazing amazing fishing for the crew.
We kicked it off in the AM with a quad stop on the 25 pound class albies and got 3 to the boat. We boxed the area for a good hour before we moved on and found the kelp we were looking for…
This nugget produced 5 hook up on tanker Yellowtail that all broke us off and you bet we were getting worried.. We made another pass and told the boys not to get down we were going to get one of these in the boat if we fished all day here…
Next pass we hook into another one and one of the guys finally worked it off the paddy and and it looked to be we were set with our 6 hooked fish and finally one was coming to the boat!!
Well not the case as the ROD SNAPPED in half and first thing that came to my mind was grab the spectra and get this fish on deck!
Long story short and a bunch of spectra burns into my hands the fish was on the deck and we finally had one of these scrappy guys in the bag!!
We worked later in the afternoon with Wildcat and called us in on a paddy that just went nuts… We pulled 10 fish off of it and were done with our Yellowtail fishing and off to chase tuna.
All is all it was one of those day we all dream of and hope you guys enjoyed it as much as we did, thanks for fishing with Seasons Sportfishing!
