Charter > Off ShoreHad a chance to fish a solo run with my new father in law yesterday for a EPIC day on the pond. Weather was as good as it gets on our departure out of Dana at 0300 as we pointed the sled in a south west direction to kick things off for a long awaited and talked about trip for Al.
We started the day looking for life just west of the 209 , which was far and few between… Made the run to the 181 and hooked our first fish (dodo) off a nice size kelp to get Al his first ever dorado…!
After that we were back on the hunt for Yellow Fin Tuna , as we headed north west we find the mother load and work them for the rest of the day!
It was run and gun all day long, and these fish were moving fast…
I have to say our local fishery is on fire!!
