Meet Your Captain
Captain Jamie Thinnes is no stranger to fishing Southern California waters, as growing up working on local boats Freelance & Thunderbird out of Daveys Locker, in Newport Beach in the early 90’s he has been educated by some of the best captains in the local fleets.
Whether it be fishing for yellowtail, offshore tuna, calico bass or the elusive white sea bass, Jamie takes great pride on fishing hard to make each trip a memorable trip for a lifetime.
Jamie Thinnes is certified with the U.S. Coast Guard with a Master 50 Ton Captains license.
About Seasons
SEASONS is a 2005 “2520 Parker pilot house sportfishing vessel” with a 9-foot, 6-inch beam powered with twin Yamaha 200 four-stroke engines which can pretty much get you to the fishing grounds before anyone else.
SEASONS has the state of the art electronic from the Furuno NAV Net 10.4 (Color scope, GPS, Radar 24 mile) 90 gallon (5 scoop) Pacific Edge dual sided bait system.
She has also just taken on a new tuna tower with with 15 + rod holders , so there is no shortage of space for rods. We have also added another bunk for those over night white seabass trips in search of the ghost! As well added in 2009 we have added a galley with microwave and hot coffee for those early mornings. SEASONS is an ideal choice for full day , 1/2 day charters or open party trips to fish our beautiful rich local Southern California waters.
