The ‘Coronado Islands’ are located within the central portion of the Southern California Bight. These islands are exposed continental blocks produced by the shear zone of the Pacific and North American plates. A home for us in early spring and summer for one of our favorite species to catch. Home to the California Yellowtail or the scientific name ‘Seriola Dorsalis.
